Fluorspar Beneficiation Solutions

Solution Overview

This fluorite beneficiation solution provides a combined process of "re-election - flotation" for the characteristics of different types of fluorspar ores (CaF₂), and realizes the efficient separation of fluorspar from barite, quartz, sulfide ores and other veinstones through the differentiated sorting design. The program is especially suitable for the separation of complex associated fluorite ores, and the process can be flexibly adjusted according to the nature of the ore to ensure that high-quality fluorite concentrate is obtained.

Process Flow Details

Crushing System

  • Three-stage and one closed-circuit crushing process

    • Jaw crusher for coarse crushing (crushing to -80mm)

    • Cone crusher for medium crushing (crushing to -20mm)

    • High pressure roller mill for fine crushing (crushing to -5mm)

  • Vibrating screen to form a closed-circuit cycle, to ensure that the particle size of the mill is qualified.

  • Equipped with dust removal system to realize clean production

Pre-selected waste disposal system

  • Adopting jigger to process +2mm coarse-grained materials

  • 15-30% of low-grade waste rock can be thrown away in advance.

  • Reduce the subsequent grinding and flotation processing capacity and save energy consumption.

  • Improve the grade and optimize the sorting effect.

Grinding and Classification System

  • Stage grinding process

    • One stage ball mill and spiral classifier closed circuit (grinding to -0.3mm)

    • Second stage ball milling and cyclone group closed circuit (grinding to -0.074mm accounted for 80%)

  • Precise control of grinding fineness to realize fluorite monomer dissociation

  • Adoption of wear-resistant materials to reduce the consumption of grinding media

Flotation separation system

  • Fluorite-barite separation

    • Mixed flotation (using oleic acid trap)

    • Separation flotation (pH=8-9, water glass inhibits barite)

  • Fluorspar-quartz separation

    • Use of combined inhibitors (water glass + metal ions)

    • Selective fluorite capture using fatty acid-based traps

  • Treatment of sulfide-bearing ores
