1. Leading re-election process: the first choice for high efficiency and economy.

  • Applicable conditions:

    • Barite in the ore is embedded in coarse grains (+0.5mm)

    • Raw ore grade BaSO₄ ≥ 30%.

  • Process flow:

    • Crushing and screening: Jaw crusher + cone crusher is used for two-stage crushing, followed by circular vibrating screen for grading to prepare suitable particle size for sorting.

    • Jigging: The core sorting equipment is jigger, which can separately process different grain sizes (e.g. coarse and fine grains) and separate barite and veinstone efficiently by using gravity difference.

2. Magnetic separation and iron removal process: a powerful tool for purification and whitening

  • Applicable conditions:

    • Ore containing ferromagnetic impurities (such as rhodochrosite, hematite, pyrite)

    • The target products are pharmaceutical grade, paint grade and other high whiteness and high purity requirements.

  • Process Flow:

    • Adopt high gradient wet magnetic separator (background field strength 1.0 - 1.5 Tesla ) to conduct multi-stage magnetic separation for crushed ore or reelected rough concentrate.

  • Iron removal effect: It can effectively reduce the Fe₂O₃ content in the concentrate to less than 0.5%, and significantly improve the whiteness and purity of the product.

3. Flotation purification process: overcome the difficulties of low grade and fine grains

  • Applicable conditions:

    • Low-grade ore (BaSO₄ content 8-20% )

    • Barite is embedded with fine or micro-fine grains (-0.074mm).

    • High purity products (≥95%) such as chemical filler grade are required.

  • Process Flow and Pharmacy:

    • The flotation process of "one coarse, three fine, two sweep" is the classic configuration to ensure the recovery and grade.

    • Pharmacy system: Adopt fatty acid (anionic recovery agent) or amine (cationic recovery agent) as the core recovery agent, and match with high efficient inhibitor and adjusting agent, to realize the high efficient separation of barite and fluorite, calcite, quartz and other vein stones.
